One year in Geneva!🖤
This week, I celebrated one year of Scout & Gem in our downtown Geneva storefront, and I honestly can’t believe how quickly this year has gone.
Opening a storefront was a big leap for me. I hoped the business would grow, of course, but I never could have imagined just how fulfilling it would be to become part of this community.
The relationships I’ve built—with customers, fellow small business owners, and so many wonderful people throughout Geneva and beyond—have become one of my favorite parts of what I do. I’m so grateful for every person who has walked through the door, shopped with me, shared Scout & Gem with a friend, attended an event, or simply stopped in to say hello.
And I’m incredibly thankful for the family and friends who have supported and encouraged me every step of the way.
Owning a small business can be exciting, overwhelming, challenging, and incredibly rewarding—sometimes all in the same day. One year later, I’m so happy I took the leap.
Thank you for being part of Scout & Gem’s first year in Geneva. Here’s to year two!
