We are hosting our last bingo/trivia night of the year Sunday, October 4th on our patio from 4 - 5:30. This one is horror themed so join us and test your knowledge on a variety of horror literature. No teams required and attendance is capped at 30 people. Advance registration is required so call the store or DM us here and we’ll put you in the list! The store and coffee bar will be open until play begins at 4. Dress for outdoor weather and bring a lawn chair!

Join us Sunday, September 20th for an author signing event with Anitra Rowe Schulte. Anitra is releasing her first chapter book series, Starlin. The first book in the series is titled Starlin: Picture Day Drama and is being released September 15th! We'll have copies available that day but you can also pre order a copy and we'll hold it for you to be picked up on the 20th when Anitra will be signing on our patio from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
We're excited to host Anitra again for the release of her new series!

Happy National Book Lovers Day! It’s no secret that the Harvey’s Tales team believes every day is book lovers day, but today is designated as a day to celebrate reading in whatever form you enjoy! We love being the shop you choose to buy your next book and when you shop Libro.fm for your audiobooks and select Harvey’s Tales as your bookstore. We love seeing little ones come in and make a beeline for Hazel’s House, watching teenagers discuss what they’ve read in the YA hallway and of course hearing everyone talk about our banned book room and how many of those titles they’ve read! We know reports say that reading in general is down but from where we stand we see reading is still something so many people enjoy! Grab a few minutes today to indulge in the joy of reading!

Harvey’s Tales is proud to be one of the sponsors of this family friendly production of Shakespeare in the Park “As You Like It”. This annual event, presented by the Geneva Foundation for the Arts, is celebrating its 20th year. The show begins at 6pm, but seating opens at 4pm. Bring chairs or blankets and pack a picnic or purchase food from local restaurants Stockholm’s and Graham’s Chocolates who will be at the event. The rain date is Sunday 8/8 at 6pm.
