🎉 We're Closing Early Today for National Night Out!

🚨 THYROID MEDICATION RECALL NOTICE 🚨

A nationwide recall has been issued for certain lots of Levothyroxine Sodium tablets due to potency concerns. Affected strengths include 25 mcg, 50 mcg, 75 mcg, 88 mcg, 112 mcg, 125 mcg, and 150 mcg from selected lots distributed by Major Pharmaceuticals/Cardinal Health.

If you take Levothyroxine:

1️⃣ Check your prescription bottle for the manufacturer and lot number (if you are patients with us, the manufacture you received is safe to use and it’s not been recalled). If you’re unsure whether your medication is affected, we’re happy to help.

2️⃣ If you filled your prescription at another pharmacy and have concerns, bring your medication to Genoa Family Pharmacy or give us a call. We’ll gladly check whether your medication is part of the recall or call your existing pharmacy.

3️⃣ Do NOT stop taking your medication without first speaking with your healthcare provider.

Can I take Tylenol and ibuprofen together?

The short answer is sometimes—but it depends.

Tylenol (acetaminophen) and ibuprofen work differently, and for some people they can be used together. However, the right dose and timing depend on your age, medical conditions, and other medications.
