It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of our longtime technician, Ethan Crouch.
Ethan had been part of our piano family for over 20 years. He was a wonderful man, kind, funny, hardworking, and deeply dedicated to his faith and family. He was not only an excellent technician and trusted colleague, but also a dear friend. Ethan leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, his children, and many grandchildren, whom he spoke of often and with great pride.
We wanted to share this news with our clients, many of whom knew Ethan personally and welcomed him into their homes over the years. We will deeply miss Ethan—his kindness, dedication, and the joy he brought to each day. His memory will always remain a part of The Piano Shop. May he rest in peace.

Six weeks away! After Thunder weekend, but before Derby, join us for more festivities with “Dinner, Dancing and Jazz at the Speed”. On April 26th the School of Music will present an exceptional evening of entertainment at the Speed Museum. We’re recreating the legendary jazz clubs of the roaring 1920’s, featuring dinner by Marigold Catering, two drink tickets, free valet parking and dancing into the night with music from the Brothers Big Band. Proceeds benefit diversity initiatives at the School of Music. Help us fill a table and see you there!

The Louisville Orchestra and its Music Director Teddy Abrams won the award for "Best Classical Instrumental Solo" at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
