I was informed,by our social media department, that the shirt promo is a hit! I was also informed that said promo contained little to no “real” information, the employee responsible has been reprimanded. In an effort to clear this up:
My brother and I, we’ll call him the Curmudgeonly Monk, started making beef jerky in the ‘80’s in an effort to stay warm while working outside during long New England winters. I’ve kept it up over the years. Sold it at work, gave it as yankee swap gifts etc. Now, as part of the Trading Post, all of our equipment has been upgraded to commercial equipment and the process has been improved. We make our jerky to order and have been shipping orders around the country for a while now with great success. Most importantly, the new website will be up shortly, that even makes the Monk smile! We’re finally ready to offer a sweet deal:
We have three kinds:
Plain-Not hot, the hardcore consider this breakfast or dessert jerky. Sweet and slightly spicy loaded with our traditional hickory flavor.
Original-Hot, great for the slopes or building stone walls in February. This is the one, the granddaddy. Sneaky heat that allows you to taste the jerky, then has it’s say.
Extra Hot-Extra Hot, it’s in the name! Think about just cresting the hump, about 3/4 of the way up, on the high-speed “quad” at Sunday River when it’s blowing about 75 knots. That’s what extra hot was made for, one piece on the ride up takes care of the ride down. The heat does not overpower the flavor.
Free shipping in the contiguous states!
Free local delivery on the North Shore and Merrimack Valley areas of Massachusetts.
We’re offering a pound of our amazing jerky for $40 and throwing in our very first Mad Monk’s tee-shirt! We will be offering many new designs so this will be a collector’s item! No limit on the shirts! Buy five pounds, get five shirts, no big whoop! The jerky is made to order and arrives vacuum sealed for freshness.
Please e-mail us at [email protected] to place an order or if you have any questions regarding the jerky, the Trading Post or anything else!
HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON!
