By having a Certified Travel Advisor by your side, I will help take the overwhelming feeling away so you can just travel and enjoy the experience and sites wherever you decide to go.

Hi, I’m Anne, owner of The Good Life (a retail gift store in Gering, NE) and I’m excited to bring my love of travel and creating meaningful experiences to my business. For me, The Good Life has always been about more than the things we surround ourselves with—it’s about the people we love, the memories we make, and taking time to enjoy the blessings and adventures life has to offer. Travel is such a wonderful part of that!

My family loves to travel, especially when it involves sunshine, beautiful beaches, and the underwater world. My husband and I are both scuba certified and some of our favorite adventures have been exploring beneath the surface and experiencing places together. I’ve also always enjoyed researching travel, finding great deals, and figuring out how to make a dream trip come together.

Now, I’m excited to use that passion to help others experience the joy of travel without feeling overwhelmed by all the planning and choices that come with it through The Good Life On The Road.
Whether you’re dreaming of relaxing at an all-inclusive resort, setting sail on a cruise, planning a magical Disney vacation, creating the perfect family getaway, or celebrating the beginning of your marriage with an unforgettable honeymoon, I would love to help.

My goal is simple: to make the travel-planning process easier, more enjoyable, and less stressful—while helping you find the best opportunities for your budget and travel dreams. Because life is meant to be lived, memories are meant to be made, and sometimes the best way to enjoy The Good Life is to pack a suitcase and go! I look forward to helping you plan your next adventure.

Today is our son's first Cross Country meet and we will be there to cheer him on! I will be closed today from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and appreciate your understanding of the importance of family and not missing these special moments!

In the meantime, I can't wait to see you when you come in!

CLARIFICATION ON APPAREL PRE-ORDERS AND SHIPPING
(You can either read below or watch my lengthy video...the choice is yours.)

First of all...thank you for your patience as we are working out website kinks and workflow to execute the apparel order as soon as possible.

The apparel orders are a pre-ordered item and Skip and I are covering the shipping costs (saves you a minimum of $8 per order) by having you select local pickup. I am now sending the orders in as they are made instead of waiting until after September 5th and my gal Ali is trying to crank these out as fast as she can to get them to us sooner. Otherwise, it could take up to two weeks if I wait and send them all in at the same time and after my original deadline.

Some of you are seeing "usually ready within 24 hours" when selecting "pickup at the store" as your delivery option. That is for ordinary items that I have in the store physically. While they do show as "in stock" the apparel items are not physically here.

2 schools × 11 designs each × 3 products × 10 sizes = 660 different options

There is no way to order in that many options for every activity that was requested. I ask that you be patient and we will get them here as soon as possible. Please note when you are ordering with The Good Life, you are also supporting another woman owned, Nebraska based business who is creating these items for me.

I'm sending the first round of apparel orders in sooner than planned but will ultimately send multiple rounds as they keep coming in! Get your orders in ASAP for the Gering Bulldogs and Scottsbluff Bearcats apparel!

Hey friends of The Good Life! My website decided to act up over night and the Gering and Scottsbluff apparel items disappeared from my apparel page.

GOOD NEWS! It's back! The struggle is real when you own, manage and are your own IT department too! 🤪 Either way...if you are just seeing about the apparel products we are making available by pre-orders...check out my most recent videos below. With every purchase made, we will be making a donation back to the youth sports programs!
