To all our friends and followers, Many of you may remember Lana one of the barn gang that had her booth in the back corner of the Barn. Lana is doing something very special and I would like to share this with all of you and invite you all to her event to help her with her new service project.

This is Lana's post:
Dearest friends and family,
As you all know, we lost our sweet Sydney this year. She was the BEST at her job as a therapy dog with Hospice and at the Atrium Hospital. I am now focusing my attention on the foster care system. Our oldest son fostered 2 sweet baby boys and we became respite care givers. I became more aware of the children affected by this system and especially those that age out of the system in which 50% become homeless within 2 years. I am raising funds for those children by having an open house where I will sell my jackets, flannels, bracelets, necklaces, a hat bar and a garage sale.

The dates will be Friday night, September 25 from 3pm to 8pm and Sunday, the 27th from 1pm to 6pm. I appreciate your support!

I finally gave up the booths at the local vendor malls. It was getting to be overwhelming with restocks, the gas usage, some theft and lost merchandise to other vendor statements.

So I have decided to sell from home on Ebay, Etsy, Fb Marketplace and other venues. It will be nice to stay at home!! I have tons to offer, not only from my personal collections but boxes of long stored items.

I hope you will continue to follow this journey. I have uploaded some items today on Etsy and my. seller ID is Vintage to Antique......hope you will check it out!!!

There is a new FB page that is selling vintage items. The page is Two Vintage Sisters Treasures. They are located in Farmersville, Ohio not far from where we were at the Barn. They sell on line, showing on their page what is available. For those close to Farmersville, Ohio, it is easy for pick ups.

If you are near Monroe, Ohio, this thrift shop is a must!!!! Great items and true thrift shop pricing. The Treasure Barn does not carry clothing but everything for the house to antiques and collectibles....

Went on a recent trip to Centerville, Indiana to visit Centerville Antique Mall and Cornerstone Market. Stopped for lunch downtown Centerville, Indiana at 5 Arch Brewing. The place not only had great food at very reasonable prices, but the staff and atmosphere was wonderful. This salad was half size greek salad with grilled chicken and fresh brewed ice tea, all under $20. I had a recent visit to Springboro Coin and Jewelry in Springboro, Ohio to scrap some items. I have met Justin the owner a while back and thought I would shop his store. Wow, what fun!! From coins, jewelry to sport memorabilia and very fair prices on scrap gold and silver!!
