I've been quiet lately. A lot has been going on. I've had to slow down to address some medical issues, and lately they seem to be kicking my rear! I've had lots of testing done, and still have plenty more to get done. My biggest obstacle currently is chronic migraines. Meds aren't helping much, and they are almost daily. I am trying to get in with a specialist, but those appointments take time to get.

I am sewing when I can. It's about the only thing I can do, but some days, I can't even do that.

Anyway, this post is to just let y'all know I'm still around. I hope to be able to share some pictures in a few days of projects I have worked on over the past few months!

It has a split pocket on the front and a split pocket inside as well. I added feet to the bottom.

The last few weeks have been busy with pattern testing, but it's so much fun and always great to test/learn new skills! The latest test was for a fleece pullover. It has a fun neckline and choice of pocket options, hood/shawl collar, hemmed or cuffs for sleeves, and different lengths too!

So I've been testing a new pattern for a designer again. This is so much fun! This time we tested onesie pajamas for adults! (Pattern is available in kids, women, AND men!) The kiddo LOVES hers - she has two pair already! The pattern offers 2 pocket options (or none), hood or none, multiple sleeve options, and either hemmed, cuffed, or footed feet!

A little update:
For those who don't know, HPC is in western Oregon and we are currently battling many large wildfires. Although my immediate family is safe, others have had to evacuate and 4 days later still don't know if they have a home left. The smoke and ash has been really bad at my home, and I have only left twice since Monday - yesterday and this morning. Anyway, we are safe, but hunkering down trying to avoid being out as much as possible.
This week also marked the first week of virtual school for my daughter, so we have been learning that system as well.
Today I am going to spend the day making salsa for the family - I make enough for us to last the year (or at least try to lol). Tomatillo salsa, tomato salsa, and taco sauce. If there are enough jalapeños left, I will make more fermented jalapeño hot sauce (SO YUMMY!).
I'm going to post a few pictures from the past week to share what we are dealing with.

I finished another dress this morning! I love the retro vibe with this one!
