Antique Michigan Chair Co. Banister-Back Chairs - Grand Rapids (Pair)

For sale is a beautiful, matched pair of antique William and Mary style banister-back chairs (one armchair, one side chair) manufactured by the renowned Michigan Chair Company in Grand Rapids, MI.
Based on the maker's partial decal on the underside, these pieces date back to the early 1900s (circa 1890–1920). They feature a striking, historically accurate New England "Heart and Crown" carved top crest, turned banisters, and a deep ebonized finish.
Both chairs are in excellent antique condition. The cane/rush seats are exceptionally clean, tight, and completely unbroken. Solid, sturdy, and full of historic character.
