New banner is up and new street signs at the parking lot entrance. New sales effort team member coming on board. We are going all out to defeat the national "raise the prices" in many cases unfair. Last weekend we played "let's make a deal" on the floor and it was fun and (costly) yikes! The worse it gets the harder we are going to try an ease your burden. Saturday we did a survey on the floor of who and where our "guests" came from. We had a surprising number of first timers and little ones. Only a few were local but many new locals. We all see the construction around us plus road/cable work. Our mission now is to pour on the Southern charm and make these "newbies" welcome. Wait til you see the new efforts we are coming up with.

11 out of 10 little customers love coming to Bear Bottom. Why? Because we fuss over them. Free snack bar, play area and even a quiet library and bath room amenities made for them. But most of all we don't say "no no no" or "don't touch" as that is Mom's job as we are a "kids store". Ask them "do you want to go to the bear store"? As a treat all toys up to $20 are 30% off today. Yeah kids!!

Slow week with our crazy weather. The good side is that we were able to get over 3000 pieces of clothing on the floor. Plus the side alcove area has been converted to a library for the kids. Lots of books and all on sale at 30% off. So bring the kids for free snacks-beverages and now 2 areas they can "chill out" while you browse.

Incredible but true. Never met my grandfather Joseph Bradley as he passed on 9/05/1935 at 5:55 am at Delaware Memorial hospital in room 135. I was born 9/05/1943 at 5:55 am in same hospital room 136. So----now you know how unique we are. In his honor let's do a $5 gift card for every $20 you spend on everything good for the whole month. Lot's more to this story but another time. Hugs!!

Soda bar is back for the week. We cannot cool the weather but we can cool your visit. Our complimentary snack bar will have your choice of iced beverages at the entrance.
