Three years ago today, The Crossroads Guitars & Art opened its doors πŸŽ‰

And while we could talk about the guitars, the lessons, the concerts, the art and everything else that has happened inside these walls over the past three years, what we’re most grateful for is the community that has grown around this place πŸ’› Our team. Our students and their families. Our teachers, Our customers. Our artists and musician friends. The people who come to shows, stop in just to say hello, tell their friends about us, and continue to support a small local business with a pretty big dream.

YOU are the reason we’re still here three years later - and we can’t thank you enough.

Halloween is taking over The Crossroads gallery πŸŽƒπŸ‘»

This October, we’re welcoming Dark Whimsy back for a solo exhibition and gallery takeover featuring work that’s wonderfully strange, delightfully macabre, and perfectly suited for the season.

Join us for the opening reception on Sunday, October 4th from 1–4pm! Come meet the artist, explore the exhibit, and kick off spooky season with us.

Dark Whimsy will remain on exhibit October 4 through November 1, so you’ll have the entire month to stop in and experience it.

On Friday, October 23rd, we’re thrilled to welcome National Fingerstyle Guitar Champion Muriel Anderson back to The Crossroads for an intimate workshop and a concert unlike anything we’ve hosted before.

🌎 𝑴𝑼𝑹𝑰𝑬𝑳 𝑨𝑡𝑫𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑢𝑡: 𝑰𝑡𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑡𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑢𝑡𝑨𝑳, 𝑩𝒀 𝑹𝑬𝑸𝑼𝑬𝑺𝑻

This isn’t your typical concert. The audience helps choose the journey. Armed with her extraordinary 20-string harp guitar, Muriel takes requests for countries around the world and brings them to life through music - drawing on the sounds, traditions and stories she’s collected through a lifetime of traveling and performing. She even sings in up to 10 languages!

Guitarists can come early for a special 5:30 PM workshop, where Muriel will share techniques and ideas gathered from an astonishing musical lineage that includes Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, Doc Watson, Christopher Parkening, Segovia and others.
Then at 7:30 PM, settle in for the concert, with special guest Bunny Barnes joining us for the evening.
