Seriously… does it get any better than this? ❤️🐴

This little pony went from packing Laramie all over the yard and pasture to gently toting Rowdy around. Watching these ponies take care of the kids and seeing the confidence they build in them is something pretty special.

Moments like these are why we love having ponies around. They aren’t just ponies—they become babysitters, best friends, and memory makers.

🌟 Check out this cute little guy! 🌟

This handsome guy rides and drives and stands approximately 40 inches tall.

We rode today while rain pounded down on the metal roof, and we even had a little thunder mixed in. ⚡️🌧️ He never missed a beat and took it all in stride.

He will be consigned to the upcoming Fort Smith Horse and Mule Sale.

Just your average night here at the funny farm. We get home from ball games, Mom announces it’s dinner time, and the kids immediately disappear… not to wash up or set the table, but to play with the ponies, sheep, and goats. 😂🐴🐐🐑

Apparently dinner can wait when you’ve got farm chores, furry friends, and important animal business to attend to. Around here, the animals are just as much a part of the family as everyone else—and the kids wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

And since everyone is going to ask about this handsome guy… yes, he will be looking for a new home soon! 👀 He stands 41-42 inches tall, and I’ll get more pictures and videos posted as soon as I can—unless, of course, someone snatches him up before I get that done! 😉🐴

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Oakridge Ranch 🤎🐴
Here’s to the ranch mamas, the rodeo mamas, the baseball and softball mamas, the chore-doing, mud boot wearing, coffee reheating, fence fixing, late-night worrying kind of moms. The ones who can haul kids, feed animals, pack snacks, doctor scrapes, and still somehow make it to every game, practice, concert, and rodeo with a smile on their face.
Motherhood out here isn’t always pretty. It’s messy buns, dirty trucks, laundry piles, dusty boots by the door, and kids growing up way too fast under wide open skies. It’s long days and short nights filled with hard work and even bigger love.
To all the moms spending their days raising good kids, teaching them respect, hard work, kindness, and how to love this western way of life — we see you. And we know most days you give more of yourself than you even have left to give. Even taking care of the husbands who somehow become one more ranch kid to keep alive. 🤠🤣
Today we hope you’re spoiled a little extra and reminded just how appreciated you truly are.

Meet Jack — a blue roan, 4-year-old Percheron/Quarter Horse cross gelding standing just shy of 17 hands with all the bone and foot you could want. This big guy is built to work all day and still look good doing it.
Jack is broke to ride and drive (single & double) and has that true gentle giant personality everyone is searching for. He’s easy to catch, great to be around, loads nicely in the trailer, and stands tied like a gentleman for grooming, bathing, and saddling.
Turn him out in the pasture or put him in a stall — he’s happy either way and gets along well with other horses.

Is anyone else LOVING this 50° weather?! ☀️🙌
The barn cleanup hits different when you’re not freezing your fingers off. While the kids were at school, we’ve been tackling projects that have been staring at us all winter. 🧹🐴
Once they’re home it’s: • Riding a few horses 🐎
• Getting those witch knots out of manes and tails ✂️
• Spending some time working with the colts outside 🤎
This is the kind of day that fills your cup. Fresh air, sunshine, and mud under your boots.

We’ve officially reached a whole new level of farm crazy 🤪🐮
We’ve had animals in the garage and the house before — dogs 🐕, cats 🐈, chickens 🐔, goats 🐐, ponies 🐎… but NOW we have Nacho the Brama bull living the good life in the garage for winter ❄️➡️🔥
This dude is enjoying a cozy 70 degrees like he pays rent 💅 Talk about SPOILED.
And for those of you who know my kids… yes, they’ve already asked if Nacho can come into the kitchen “just for pictures” 📸😳
I drew the line 🚫🍽️
Please pray that line stays drawn because I’m not ready for a bull in my kitchen 🤣🙏
Nacho not only has his own stall… but he also has a baby monitor on him 📹
And let’s be honest — we’ve officially used it more for animals than we ever did for Rowdy 🤷‍♀️😂
Guess that makes us high-tech rednecks 🤠📱
