The Lost 52 Project accounts for another lost sub from World War 2. The USS (Hit 'em) Harder has been found.

The wreck of one of the most storied US Navy submarines of World War II has been found in the South China Sea eight decades after its last patrol, the Navy’s History and Heritage Command said Thursday.

We are very honored to have been able to assist the USS Pierre commissioning committee with embroidered hats for yesterday's keel laying ceremony in Alabama. Our family loves what we do to help promote pride in our military and veterans and loves helping organizations like that. It is neat to see our hats being worn at cool events like this!

I read a post today that said it is not enough to thank a veteran for his or her service... we also need to listen to veterans’ stories. That really hit home. Our family is grateful for the many stories we’ve been able to hear from vets. This photo is from a WW2 449th Bomb Group reunion this past weekend that surviving WW2 vets and their many generational family members attended to remember and honor their service. My 9 year old son is listening to the stories of a 103 year old B24 bombardier.

We thank all veterans for their service, and more importantly, we hope today is a day of sharing and listening to the many stories of our veterans’ selfless service to us and our country.
