WIP Wednesday: same lap blanket as last week, just a little longer now. This recent evening work session, I had two dogs piled on my lap and the TV going in the background—perfect stitching conditions if you ask me.

This week’s WIP Wednesday is a commissioned lap blanket for someone who wants something warm during infusions. It’ll be around five feet long, but only wide enough for the lap.
Honestly, these are the only blankets I truly enjoy making—big repetitive projects lose my interest fast, so this size is perfect.

Tool Tuesday — I grab this gadget often for shorter, repeat-repeat patterns (think headbands, earwarmers, socks, keychains, etc.). It’s a tape measure that fits over your hook and helps me keep track of my crochet piece’s length.

Finished Friday — I made this headband for Sturgis a while back and I still love it. I'm wearing it this Friday evening while I crochet.
