How much time do you waste searching for files?

You know the file exists. You remember creating it. Yet somehow you end up opening five different documents named “Final,” scrolling through screenshots, and wondering why you can’t find the one thing you actually need.

The problem usually isn’t your computer.

It’s your file names.

In this week’s podcast episode, I’m sharing the simple file naming convention I use and teach my clients to help them:

✔ Find files faster

✔ Make search work better

✔ Reduce decision fatigue

✔ Help team members find what they need

✔ Create a business that relies on systems instead of memory

One of the biggest mindset shifts I teach is this:

Don’t name files for today’s you.

Name files for future you.

The person who won’t remember what you were thinking six months from now. 😊

If you’re tired of wasting time searching for files, this episode will help.

I have a question for you...

How many times have you searched for the same file this week? 👀

Not because it was lost.

Because you couldn’t remember where you saved it.

Google Drive?
Downloads?
Desktop?
That random folder you created six months ago?

If you’ve ever spent 15 minutes looking for something that should’ve taken 15 seconds to find, you’re going to relate to this week’s podcast episode.

My guest, Vicky Countess, shares how digital clutter was quietly stealing her time, creating frustration, and making her business feel harder than it needed to be.

The interesting part?

She thought her problem was technology.

It wasn’t.

It was a lack of organization and simple systems.

And that’s good news because systems can be fixed.

In this episode, we talk about:

✓ The hidden cost of digital clutter

✓ Why disorganization drains your energy

✓ How simple systems create confidence

✓ What finally helped Vicky feel in control of her business again

Because being disorganized isn’t just annoying.

It’s exhausting.

What if the reason your business feels so exhausting… has nothing to do with working harder?
My guest today, Vicky Countess, thought she just needed to “get better at tech.” But underneath the cluttered desktop, overflowing files, and piles of paper was something deeper: frustration, wasted time, and the constant feeling of never being able to find what she needed when she needed it.
Vicky first found me through a business program where I was teaching simple digital organization strategies. She downloaded my file organization cheat sheet, started making small changes, and eventually jumped into my Black Friday offer (the Organized CEO Intensive - get now for $250 off) because she was tired of feeling scattered in her business.
Her story is going to sound VERY familiar if you’ve ever spent 20 minutes searching for one file… only to realize you saved it in three different places. 😅
In this episode, Vicky shares what digital clutter was really costing her, why organization felt emotionally heavy, the simple systems that helped her finally feel calm and confident inside her business again, and the new niche that she's not only passionate about but also starting very organized.
We talk about:

Why being “bad at tech” usually isn’t the real problem
The emotional weight of digital clutter and constant frustration
How simple file organization can save hours every week
The bookmark bar system that immediately made business easier
How small changes can create huge relief in your day-to-day work
What finally pushed Vicky to ask for help

If I had to start my business over from scratch today, I would do a LOT differently.
Not because I failed the first time…
But because I’ve learned that organization is not something you “get to later” once your business grows.
Organization is what allows your business to grow without taking over your brain.
In this episode, I’m walking you through exactly how I would organize a brand new business from day one if I were starting all over today. From digital files to time blocking to dashboards and workflows, I’m sharing the systems I would set up immediately to save time, reduce overwhelm, and create a business that actually feels sustainable.
You’ll hear:

The very first decision I would make about where to store everything
Why I would immediately create a simple file structure
The “business brain” dashboard I would build right away
How I would organize my bookmarks, links, and recurring tasks
The way I would structure my calendar and time blocks
Why organizing your mind matters just as much as organizing your files

This episode is practical, strategic, and full of the exact systems I use to run an organized business today.
If you’ve ever felt buried in tabs, downloads, scattered ideas, or inconsistent workflows, this episode will help you think differently about what it really means to build a business that supports you instead of exhausting you.

I love stories.

I love your stories.

This is Lauren’s story…

She was overwhelmed as she began working toward her goal of creating authentic connections.

She solved that overwhelm with the Podcast Dashboard Bundle.

(She then noticed something else, but you’ll have to listen to the episode to hear about that part of her story.)

You know those tasks in your business or life that somehow feel way heavier than they should

Creating authentic connections via podcast, pitching, reach outs, collaborations, etc. can become one of those things.

Not because it’s actually difficult.

But because the backend process is chaotic.

Random Google Docs.
Half written pitches.
Forgotten follow ups.
No clue who you already contacted.

That’s exactly what Lauren Carlisle Brown and I talked about on this week’s podcast episode.

Lauren is an emotions coach, and she shared how she used to feel completely “kerfluffled” before she started using my podcast pitching dashboard bundle.

I think so many business owners can relate to this.

We assume we need more discipline or consistency when really we just need systems that make the process easier to maintain.

Because visibility gets a lot easier when your business is organized behind the scenes.

Lauren is sharing:

🌟 why podcast pitching felt so overwhelming before having a system
🌟 how organization helped her show up more authentically
🌟 The connection between emotions and visibility
🌟 Why simple systems create more consistency

One of my favorite things she said was, “Feelings aren’t problems to be solved. They are messages to receive.”

So good!

I think the same thing applies to business organization too.

🔥 If your visibility strategy constantly feels stressful, your system systems might be trying to tell you something.

If you’ve been wanting to guest on podcasts but keep avoiding the process because it feels messy or too overwhelming, this conversation is going to feel like a deep exhale. Lauren’s story is such a good reminder that visibility gets easier when you have systems that actually support you.
We also talk about emotions in business, the ripple effect of referrals, and why your feelings are not the problem you think they are.

In this bonus episode, Tracy shares a visibility strategy that she now sees in a whole new way: authentic connection.
Tracy reflects on a powerful insight from Lauren Carlisle Brown about approaching podcast guesting through the lens of authentic connection, rather than transactional networking or seeking visibility.
After completing more than 100 podcast interviews in 15 months, Tracy realized that visibility is about so much more than growing an audience or getting your name out there. The real magic came through the relationships, conversations, encouragement, and opportunities that developed along the way.
All marketing works when done consistently, but overwhelm and disorganization often interfere with consistency.
In this episode, Tracy talks about:• Why most people quit visibility strategies too soon• The hidden mental clutter behind inconsistent marketing• How authentic connection changes the energy of networking• Why organization becomes even more important once visibility starts working• How systems reduce overwhelm and create momentum
If you’ve been wanting to get more visible in your business without feeling fake, pushy, or scattered, this episode will encourage you to approach visibility in a more meaningful and sustainable way.
The Podcast Dashboard Bundle is currently 50% off through Thursday at midnight and includes Tracy’s dashboard system, pitch templates, follow-up process, and organization tools for podcast guesting and visibility outreach, as well as your own podcast (if you have one).

Want to know the real reason most people never get booked on podcasts?

It’s not because they’re bad at pitching.

It is because the process is too messy to maintain consistently.

And I know this because that was exactly me.

I would sit down to “work on visibility” and somehow end up…
😩 listening to random podcast episodes
☹️ opening 14 tabs
✍️ half writing a pitch
🫣 forgetting to follow up
📑 saving notes and random places

Then convincing myself I was too busy to keep going.

Meanwhile, podcast guesting was something I knew could help grow my business.
I love teaching
I love conversations
I love helping people

But the back end process felt chaotic so I avoided it.

This is the thing nobody talks about enough in business.

🤯 Most strategies fail because of friction not because the strategy is bad.
Not because you are lazy.
Not because you need more discipline.

Because every step takes too much mental energy.

Here is what changed everything for me:
I stopped trying to be more motivated and started building a system that made the process easier

That one shift helped me get booked on over 100 podcasts in 15 months.

The system itself is simple. Here are four things that made the biggest difference:

1️⃣ Keep all podcast research in ONE place

You need ONE organized dashboard for all info.

2️⃣ Use pitch templates.

Create a simple framework and topics hosts want. (That’s why I made Pixie for you to use.)

3️⃣ Track follow ups

Follow up matters way more than you think.

4️⃣ Remove unnecessary decisions

Tiny repeated actions create big momentum overtime.

🌟 And because I know how overwhelming this process can feel, I decided to put everything I use into one place for you….

🔥🔥My Podcast Dashboard Bundle! And this week it is 50% off!!

It includes:
✅ the podcast dashboard
✅ Pixie, you’re pitching assistant
✅ tutorials to show you my exact process
✅ my exact templates
✅ my VA’s contact information

What if one visibility strategy could sharpen your message, grow your audience, and bring in clients... without you having to dance on Instagram every day?
In this episode, I’m sharing one of the biggest visibility strategies in my business: podcast guesting. Over the last 15 months, I’ve been booked on over 100 podcasts, and it has completely changed how I show up as a coach and business owner.
But here’s the thing. I did NOT start out organized.
At first, podcast pitching looked like me wasting 30 minutes researching random shows, half-writing a pitch, getting distracted, forgetting to follow up, and then wondering why nothing was happening. I had no system. No process. No consistency.
And because there wasn’t a system, I dreaded doing it.
So I built one.
In this episode, I’m walking you through exactly how I created a simple, organized podcast pitching workflow that helped me consistently get booked on podcasts and become known as the organizing expert.
But the biggest surprise? Podcast guesting didn’t just grow my visibility. It helped me deepen my message, sharpen my teaching, and get clearer on what I actually believe about organization, mindset, emotions, and what’s really keeping people stuck. Plus, new friendships and new collaboration opportunities.
If you’ve been wanting a visibility strategy that feels more human, more sustainable, and honestly... more FUN than constantly creating social media content, this episode is for you.
What you’ll learn:

Why podcast guesting became my favorite visibility strategy
The messy, disorganized way I used to pitch podcasts
What changed when I finally created a simple system
How podcast interviews helped me become more confident in my expertise
Why consistency matters more than “perfect” pitches
Why podcast guesting builds trust faster than most content strategies
The behind-the-scenes story of how I booked around 100 interviews in 15 months
