In the Northern Hemisphere, the First Day of Autumn is Tuesday, September 22. That's when the length of day and night are almost the same. Be sure your feeders are ready for some hungry birds that are either preparing or recharging for the longer nights.

I know! It's a tough question to answer. I don't think i could do it! I could definitely do a TOP 5 🤣. That list would include: Black capped Chickadee, White Breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, Tufted Titmouse, and Gray Catbird (in no particular order).

Lots of people FEED the birds, but not everyone offers a water source for them! Birds are ALWAYS looking for a clean place to bathe or have a sip of water.
