Hello to all the new readers to The Book Shelf community here on social media — I’m Nicky, owner and book enthusiast.
📚♥️ What I do differently in the reading world . . .
I spend a lot of time building a book inventory that consists of lesser-known-titles; they are the heart of this business. The creation of seasonal book kits, handcrafted reading accessories and unique bookish items (all of which ebb and flow over each year) is a direct reflection of the unique work of The Book Shelf.
I’m always chasing nostalgia, and you will see that often in my repurposing of various vintage book pages and all of the library cards I love to use!
🙌🏼 I care deeply about being a part of, and building, a vendor community that supports one another and celebrates creativity. Attending pop-ups and markets, as well as hosting my own events, has become SUCH an incredible source of joy for me — and has helped me grow as a human, as well.

In addition to market dates, you will find details on the added collaborations The Book Shelf offers, such as custom book kits (individual and for larger celebrations, such as birthdays, holidays and bridal party favors).
