Good morning ☕️

Since some of you are driving an HOUR to come see us, I should probably make one thing very clear 😂

The Market is 300 square feet. She’s little. She’s packed. And apparently she photographs very well.

But this little pocket of Baltimore County? We’ve got Prigel’s, Burton’s, The Roast, The Bread Wagon, Magnolias Flower Stand, Palmisano’s, Bressler’s, The Whimsey, Odie’s Flower Farm, The Perennial Farm, and Park & Social opening soon too.

And we certainly can’t forget our favorite hardware store right next door, because every good day trip needs the possibility of an emergency trip to Glen Arm Hardware 😂

Think of this whole little corner of the world as the market.

We’re just in different aisles 🤍

Well, painting over the UNITED STATES POST OFFICE wording outline did absolutely nothing. It’s been gone for close to TWO YEARS, guys 🧐😂

A gentleman just walked in, looked around, then looked over at me.

My greeting: “Hi! Sorry to surprise you…this is no longer the post office.” Got the standard “sorry,” quick tuck and immediate exit.

We’re about to paint the entire building a different color, so I guess we’ll see if that finally does the trick. Although I have a feeling someone will still walk in and hand me a package.

I’m starting to wonder what people have been doing for the last two years. Just periodically pulling on the door of an empty building like, “Well crap, maybe tomorrow.” 😂

The old Glen Arm Post Office lives on.

No experience necessary. Nancy will walk you through it, and the rest of us will provide whatever level of entertainment naturally occurs when you put us all in the same building after hours.

I’m still trying to catch up from everyone restocking a few days ago, yet somehow there’s even more today. So, straight to it…

Lorna, or Mary Poppins as I like to call her, because you never truly know what she’s going to pull out of her bag of tricks, brought in another round of Apron String Confections goodies.

Giant swirly cotton candy treats, chocolate dipped waffle cones, marshmallows, pretzels and peanut brittle. Well…there was peanut brittle. That disappeared before I even managed to post about it.

And right now, Apron String is buy three, get one FREE, so there’s that little piece of dangerous information.

Lorna has claimed that round table as her own little revolving door of “what did she make now?” and we adore it. Every time she walks through the door, there’s something new coming out of her bag that I didn’t know existed five minutes earlier.

Keep doing your thing, Mary Poppins. We’re just happy to provide the table 🤍

If you’ve already grabbed one of Valhalla’s scone mixes, we’d love to hear what you thought! I’ve taken one home myself and can confirm, they’re amazing!

We have Blueberry, Caramel Pecan, Lavender Lemon and Cherry Chocolate.

And brand new to the Market today, BROWNIE MIXES. Original, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Peppermint.

So now the only real question is…which brownie mix am I taking home for quality control? 😁🤍
