We have brought the flower cart out of storage and are ready to roll! We will be in front of the Glen Art Theatre in Glen Ellyn this Saturday, May 13 from 9am-noon with our flower cart bursting with blooms, just in time for Mom's Day!

Whether you are a dog mom, cat mom, kid mom, plant mom or just an all around nurturing and caring person, treat yourself or someone you know to some locally grown flowers. Hope to see you on Saturday : )

Stop by the flower cart this Saturday and browse our locally grown blooms! We cannot thank our customers enough for supporting the flower cart. They are so enthusiastic about buying locally grown flowers. It makes my heart sing. Oh and 4% of our sales are donated to the Willowbrook Wildlife Center for the care and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured wildlife in the area.

The cart will be in front of the Glen Art Theatre in Glen Ellyn this Saturday from 9:00-12:30 (we have new hours and will start one hour earlier).

Stop by and get some flowers a la cart!

I just have one word to say....Wow!! Zinnias, ageratum and gomphrena: 3 flower varieties that pack a visual wallop when they join forces : ) We will have these varieties and more (did someone say sunflowers?) at the flower cart this Saturday, August 20. We will be in front of the Glen Art Theatre in Glen Ellyn from 10-1 (or until flowers sell out).

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the flower cart yesterday! The garden is exploding with flowers and it is always so much fun to share them with you - and it's fun to ride the bike to downtown Glen Ellyn as well! Thought it would be fun to chronicle my ride to the Glen Art Theatre so here is the first block : )

Do the Can-Can! In addition to flower bunches on our flower cart, we also have these adorable upcycled "can" vases with blooms. The cans have been painted by our resident can painter, me : ) And this Tiffany blue color pairs so well with our summer flowers. I am in love with the color! It's the perfect gift for yourself or for someone you would like to bombard with locally grown blossoms!

The flower cart will be petaling into downtown Glen Ellyn tomorrow, Saturday August 13. Find us in front of the Glen Art Theatre from 10-1, or until flowers sell out.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the flower cart in downtown Glen Ellyn yesterday! We sold out and SO appreciate everyone's support and enthusiasm for our locally grown flowers. I ride the cart from my home and seeing people's reactions as I pedal by is a lot of fun! We will be pedaling our flowers again next Saturday, August 13th. Hope to see you then!

Bestill my heart! We will have lots of gorgeous bouquets on our flower cart scheduled to roll into downtown Glen Ellyn tomorrow, Saturday August 6 (how can it be August already?).

We will be in front of the Glen Art Theatre from 10am until 1pm (or until flowers sell out). Get your bouquet a la cart!!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the flower cart yesterday!! We had so much fun petting dogs and and smiling at babies and talking to you....oh and selling flowers too : )

We will be rolling to the Glen Art Theatre every Saturday. Our hours will be 10:00-1:00 (or until flowers sell out) through the months of August and September. We will have new flower varieties throughout the season and more dates may be added based on flower availability.

Our next date to spread the joy of locally grown flowers "a la cart" is August 6. Hope to see you then!

Love how the purple of the Veronica and Ageratum set off the other colors of this bloomin' beauty.

There will be more bloomin' beauties to be had at Good Roots in Glen Ellyn. Izzie's Garden is so thrilled to be supplying Good Roots with our summer bouquets. We will drop off a batch on Friday, July 27. Make sure to stop by and grab some flowers and enjoy all that the store has to offer.....Good Roots has an incredible selection of gorgeous plants, textiles and "must haves" for your home. Garden roses are pretty high up there on the gorgeous meter...dreamy fragrance, showy blooms, plays well with other flowers in an arrangement. Just so pretty!!

NEWSFLASH:
Izzie's Garden will have exciting news to share this week regarding new outlets to purchase our flowers. Hint: one of them rhymes with "power art".

We can't wait to share our blooms with you...they have been a bit delayed this year due to the crazy weather, but they are now bursting with beauty and color and are ready for their debut.

We have been in hibernation for awhile but there are many exciting things happening for Izzie's Garden.

The first news that we want to share is that we are selling bouquets at Good Roots in Glen Ellyn for a limited time. We have styled some pretty bouquets using California grown larkspur and other ingredients. Perfect for mom's day weekend. Limited quantities are available.

Good Roots is such an amazing shop! You feel like you have been transported to a magical place when you step inside.
