24 Years....This entry has no picture. Just a vivid memory of a wagon, couple jars and a coffee can asking $2.00 for a fresh cut bouquet. If there is a picture, it's in an envelope in a box stored in any number of places between the basement & attic and quite possibly the barn. The excitement of pulling in the driveway noticing a bouquet was missing, opening the can lid to find 2 one-dollar bills! Then my mind quickly went to who & why did they stop for some garden flowers. I just thought some guy down the road was in trouble and I helped him have a better night. πThe season ended and so did the bouquets. Honestly, I can't recall how long after the wagon days before the first street fair. But the feeling of accomplishment that first bouquet gave me never faded. It's amazing what a wagon, couple flower bunches & 2 bucks in a can started. I close my eyes and I can still see it like it was yesterday and I smile. π
Much to do today! See you this weekend!
