It's gonna be a hot one this week! 🔥 While you're out playing those sweet summer shows, here's a reminder to keep your drums safe and avoid leaving them in a hot vehicle (even if their favorite music is playing) -- We like fixing drums but heat damage can irreparably ruin a great kit! (and no drums were harmed in the naking of this meme)

🎆 Note: Our shop will be closed next Saturday July 4th for the holiday, but we're open today until 5pm!
Stay cool, stay hydrated & enjoy the weekend!

As part of the 2026 Chicago Drum Show, we are pleased to host a pre-show event at our Glendale Heights store on Thursday, 5/14, from 6pm to 9 pm. A special part of our event will be a preview of the great Slingerland Drums being displayed at the show!

You'll also be able to see all of our curated vintage drum collection and many of the items we have available for sale. We'll have drums from throughout Slingerland's storied history (even a 1920s Slingerland Black Beauty), as well as sets owned by famous individuals, including Louis Bellson, and more.

There will be folks on hand from Slingerland, and we anticipate having a great time. We hope to see you there!

BIG NEWS: I’m pleased to announce that Daniel Douchette has acquired my interest in Fork’s Drum Closet, effective immediately.

I couldn’t be happier here, because one of our goals when we acquired Fork’s was for it to one day return to local ownership. Daniel has been with Fork’s for most of his adult life, devoting himself to the business during the time of ownership by the Forkum family, and also with us since we purchased it in 2018.

Daniel is ideally suited to taking Fork’s forward and continuing to serve the wonderful Nashville community, and we wish him all the best in this initiative. Daniel is the future of Fork’s, and that future is in very good hands.

Congratulations Daniel!

June 17th we're hosting a jam session with our good friend Eric Binder while he's out on the road. He's a killer jazz drummer and educator, and will be starting the night with a short set accompanied by Gomeh Barak and John Sutton. So mark your calendars and come jam!
Backline provided, as well as food & drinks!
