Hello 2024! 🥳
I forgot to set goals for myself at the beginning of 2023, so this year I wanted to make a point of putting them down on paper (or screen in this case). Reflecting on how I want to invest my time, I came up with the following goals you will catch me working on throughout 2024:
Working smarter, not harder. I have not been kind to myself recently with the amount of markets I have taken on. I adore them, but they take a LOT out of me. This year I am going to refocus my efforts on finding ways to utilize my time and energy better.
Sustainably sourcing. I will admit I have hoarder tendencies. I LOVE STUFF. 😍 This year, I am putting more focus on sourcing quality vintage pieces, not a large quantity.
Actively seeking opportunities. First, by networking to find new local outlets to stock my vintage in person and also by releasing new vintage online that will start to appeal to a wider audience.
Making money, honey. I am not the type to be shy about talking numbers, so I am happy to tell you I made just shy of $25,000 in sales this year. I am taking bets on how high I will get this year. 😂
Spreading joy sincerely. 🥰 This one really has very little to do with the shop and more to do with me personally. I love being genuine. I have a face that cannot hide my emotions to save my life, so I am actively working to keep my face pleasant at all times this year. I am always blown away by the kind treatment a little eye contact and a smile gets me interacting with the general public.
Saving the planet! ♻️ This goal might be more of a lifetime than a yearlong one, but I might just find it to be the most important of all. I care deeply for Mother Earth and all her creatures big and small. Any part I can play in cleaning up the mess of the past, reducing the impact of the present, or paving the way for a bright future for our children means the world to me.
