I wrote a new article on TASER, Axon, and the future of less-lethal public safety technology. This one looks at how TASER evolved from a device people casually refer to as a “stun gun” into part of a much larger Axon ecosystem involving body cameras, evidence management, training, accountability, AI-assisted workflows, and modern public-safety technology.

For the fi****ms and 2A community, I think this is an important conversation. Less-lethal tools should be viewed as part of a broader personal-safety and public-safety mindset.

Sometimes the right tool is a firearm. Sometimes it is distance. Sometimes it is pepper spray. Sometimes it is a phone call. Sometimes it may be a TASER device. And sometimes the best tool is leaving before the problem becomes a fight.

The goal should always be the same: protect life, stay within the law, and avoid unnecessary tragedy.

2A folks know this better than anyone:

Rights matter more than personalities, parties, slogans, or campaign hats.

This article is a little different from my usual firearm, gear, and Second Amendment content, but it still connects to something I believe strongly: no politician should ever get a blank check from freedom-minded Americans.

You can support the Second Amendment and still question political theater.
You can believe in America First and still ask whether the pitch still has any movement.
You can be conservative, independent, libertarian, or just plain tired of the circus and still believe accountability matters.

This one uses a funny baseball comparison from the Julian Dorey Podcast to talk about Trump, political exhaustion, and what happens when the old routine stops fooling as many people.

It’s satire, it’s opinion, and yes, it’s meant to be funny.

This funny political essay explains why Trump’s old chaos routine now looks tired, predictable, and exposed.

Arizona HB2370 and School Weapons-Detection Systems

HB2370 is a good example of bipartisan policy focused on practical school safety operations.

The bill does not mandate weapons detectors in every school. Instead, it applies to schools that already have weapons-detection systems and helps create a more efficient process for needed modifications while still requiring reporting and oversight.

Regardless of political views, good policy should be recognized when it improves efficiency, keeps accountability in place, and addresses a real-world operational issue.

Arizona HB2370 clarifies who may be authorized to modify existing school weapons-detection systems and how those changes must be reported.

🚨 Hobbs Signs Rare Gun Bill 2A Supporters Can Back

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs signed HB2131, a gun-related bill that targets criminal weapons trafficking tied to gangs, criminal syndicates, and organized crime — not law-abiding gun owners.

That distinction matters.

Second Amendment supporters have said it for years: enforce laws against criminals, don’t punish responsible citizens. HB2131 is one of those rare bills that actually draws that line in the right place.

Gov. Katie Hobbs signed HB2131, a rare gun-related bill 2A supporters can back because it targets criminal traffickers, not lawful gun owners.

Arizona gun owners should be paying attention to SB1058.

This was not just a fight over credit cards. It was a fight over whether lawful firearm retailers and their customers can be financially categorized, tracked, and flagged through merchant codes.

When a system can tag gun-store transactions today, it can set a precedent for tracking other lawful constitutional activity tomorrow.

Financial privacy matters. The Second Amendment matters. And lawful customers should not be treated like suspects for shopping at lawful businesses.

Arizona SB1058 financial privacy matters because tracking gun-store purchases could become a model for targeting other constitutional rights.

The final article in my 6-part series From Hope to Hustle: Why MAGA Voters Feel Played is now live.

Part 1 looked at the promise voters thought they were buying.
Part 2 moved to the kitchen table.
Part 3 looked at energy, tariffs, China, farmers, and ranchers.
Part 4 examined the competence gap between strong talk and clean ex*****on.
Part 5 moved into the same-swamp problem.

Part 6 closes with the warning sign nobody in politics wants to count:

The Quiet Voter.

Not the voter who switches sides overnight.
Not the voter who suddenly trusts Democrats.
Not the voter who burns the hat and announces a dramatic breakup.

The quiet voter is different.

They may still vote red.
They may still distrust blue.
They may still believe America is in trouble.

But they stop defending every excuse.
They stop donating to every emergency email.
They stop forwarding every clip.
They stop explaining every contradiction.
They stop carrying water.

And some may do something even more damaging to the political math:

They may simply stay home.

The Quiet Voter examines MAGA exhaustion, voter trust, broken promises, and why some supporters may stop carrying the movement.

Continuing the series today: Part 5 is now live — Red Hat, Same Swamp.

The fifth article in my 6-part series From Hope to Hustle: Why MAGA Voters Feel Played is now live.

Part 1 looked at the promise voters thought they were buying.
Part 2 moved to the kitchen table.
Part 3 looked at energy, tariffs, China, farmers, and ranchers.
Part 4 examined the competence gap between strong talk and clean ex*****on.

Part 5 moves into the swamp problem.

Red Hat, Same Swamp asks what happens when an anti-establishment movement starts to feel like insider access with better merch.

Because “drain the swamp” was not supposed to mean repaint it red.

It was supposed to mean citizens first.
Not donors first.
Not insiders first.
Not family brands first.
Not crypto circles first.
Not VIP access first.
Not photo ops first.

The people who believed in America First are allowed to ask whether the promise still points toward them — or whether the same old Washington game just found a new uniform.

👉 Read Part 5 here:

Red Hat Same Swamp examines insider access, crypto, photo ops, gun rights, AI hype, and whether America First became access first.
