Come join us during happy hour at Precinct DTLA for Books & Drafts. This month’s theme is Horror, Fantasy, & Supernatural. Celebrate and support these local Q***r Authors as they discuss their stories, their journey, and hear their words.
Joining us will be:
K.C. Cordell (She/Her) with her book "So You Survived The End Of The World"
Thanks to once upon a time reading many books on the topic to her nephew, she’s pretty good at pronouncing dinosaur names. Her favorite to say is pachycephalosaurus (pak-ee-sef-uh-loh-SAWR-us).
Dalila Caryn (She/Her)
with her book "How To Swindle a Scoundrel"
She is the author of fantasy novels ranging in style from epic fantasy to silly misadventures, with plenty of in between. In 2021 having created many worlds already she opened a publishing imprint, humbly named, Evil Goddess Press. Let that be a warning to you ere you read her work.
Sylvie Helstaff (They/Them) with their book "Hound For Hell"
A Los Angeles-based artist and author of love stories for the q***r and unusual. They draw on themes of the monstrous and mythical to craft stories of belonging with sharp teeth and tender hearts.
Joining as their moderator, Esteban Q Mathieus (He/Him)
He has a background in journalism and worked for a limited time as a Features Editor. He now lives in Los Angeles, working in the film industry and running a Q***r-Focused Bookstore. He has written New Adult novels and started producing an erotic short-story zine.
