Join Merihelen during the fall equinox for an enchanting evening in a workshop full of magic where we'll gather by moody lights underneath the night sky to celebrate the turning of the season through herbs, ritual, beauty, and intention.

Inspired by the old-world apothecaries and the wisdom of the harvest, this immersive and fun experience invites you to create botanical treasures that honor the magic of autumn.

-You'll blend your own seasonal tea
-Craft a 'harvest honey' infused with aromatic herbs and spices
-And create a rich botanical elixir to carry the warmth of the season into your home

Each preparation is an invitation to slow down, awaken your senses, and reconnect with the ancient relationship between people and plants. We'll sip on mocktails by moonlight and welcome the season with a gentle meditation and a touch of ritual.

Embrace your inner mystic. Think lace, dusters, velvet, flowing sleeves, silver jewelry, maybe a wide-brim hat, Inner Stevie Nicks energy encouraged! Dear ones,

The desert reminds us that not every season is about rushing forward. Some seasons are quieter, more reflective, and a little gentler. While many people are traveling or staying indoors to escape the heat, this is also one of the most meaningful times to support the makers and small businesses that help keep your favorite services and products made with care accessible to you all year long.

Herbal Recipe of the Month

Summer Mineral Iced Tea

When the temperatures climb, our bodies lose more than just water—we also lose valuable minerals through perspiration. One of the simplest ways to replenish ourselves is with a nourishing herbal infusion.

This refreshing blend combines mineral-rich Moringa with the cooling qualities of Hibiscus, Lemon Balm, and Peppermint or Spearmint. In traditional Western herbalism, Hibiscus, Lemon Balm, and the mints are considered refrigerant herbs, meaning they help support the body's natural ability to stay cool during the hottest months of the year.

Summer Mineral Iced Tea

• 2 parts Moringa
• 2 parts Hibiscus
• 2 parts Lemon Balm
• 2 parts Peppermint or Spearmint

Mix the herbs together and store in a jar.

To prepare, use about 2 tablespoons of the blend per quart of hot steamy water for 30 minutes to an hour...or, try considering a solar infusion. For a solar infusion all you need is water in a jar with a lid set outside for 1-4 hours (in this heat), strain, and chill. Serve over ice with a slice of lemon or orange if desired.

This vibrant infusion is naturally rich in plant nutrients and minerals while offering a refreshing way to stay hydrated throughout the summer. Keep a pitcher in the refrigerator and enjoy a glass whenever you need a gentle lift, a cooling moment, or a nourishing alternative to sugary drinks.

A Personal Note
Many of you noticed I was away for a little while.
I've been recovering after having a difficult reaction to some medications that simply weren't the right fit for me. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better, I'm back at work, and it feels wonderful to be reconnecting with all of you again.
This slow season has also given me time to dream, plan, and create.
I'm especially excited for what is coming this autumn. September and the Autumn Equinox will bring new classes, seasonal gatherings, and some beautiful experiences that I've been quietly working on behind the scenes. I can't wait to share them with you.
Until then, I hope you'll join us this July for a little rest, community, and good medicine.
