Out with the old and in with the new! We are so thankful we were chosen to receive a Montana Historical Preservation Grant to cover a large part of the huge cost to replace all 58 windows in the Krug! We were also very blessed to be able to replace the old windows with new ones which are fairly historically accurate!
Aside from this upgrade, and outside the scope of the grant, we also felt the Krug needed its 120+ year old cornice work repaired, as well as the faulty and degraded box gutter system. You’ve got to stop by and see it all!

We were honored to host a wedding on the courtyard a few weeks ago! Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs Shawn and Tyler! We love that these families and their friends were able to enjoy the Krug Mansion’s outdoor space for their event!

Yesterday, I was surprised with a visit to from Charlie Krug, the grandson of Charles Krug, who build the Krug Mansion! Charlie and his wife visited and took photos, visited about memories inside the home, and told me some interesting facts I hadn’t known before. They thanked us for taking such good care of the property and told us they loved how we had updated the property and congratulated us on moving Sugar Plum Fine Jewelry to this location. It was very special! — Kate

A little walk through the back garden last night at sunset! The grape arbors are full and heavy! We’re getting the grounds prepared for a wedding in the courtyard next month. It’s a perfect space for a smaller/intimate wedding or party!
