Watch out for drafts from air conditioners, fans, and open windows.

Why? It can ruin how your candle burns.

Before lighting up your candles, place them in a "dead zone" where the air is still. If you notice the flame flickering wildly or leaning to one side, blow it out, let it cool, and move it to a more sheltered spot.
