We will NOT be holding our James L. Ward Memorial Scholorship in July this year. The date we always hold it falls on the same day as the last day of the Lewis County Fair and we know many of our participants like to attend the fair/demolition derby.
I am hearing that Brook's Worm's will be holding a derby in August, so keep looking for those details.
If you would still like to make a donation this year to the Scholorship Fund, you can drop off at the shop or mail it to Phyllis Ward 6732 Pine Grove Rd Glenfield NY 13343, just add a note explaining what it is for.
This year's recipient of the scholorship was chosen by Phyllis herself. I dont have his application in front of me so I forget where he is planning to go to further his education, but that recipient was Chase Robbins. Congratulations!
And for those followers that havent been to Brook's Worms and are wondering how Phyllis is doing, she is doing well and planning her 3rd trip to Alaska later this month. If you are ever in the area, stop in and see her, she loves to see her old customers!
