Next Frankoma Pottery Class is Saturday June 6. It's a Make and Paint class. You will make a butterfly (or piggie toothpick holder or titmouse). The butterfly is made with a hand press while the alternate items are made with slip casting molds. You will be shown how to both "wet trim" and "dry trim" the items. And, we will have identical bisque pieces to paint. You will be busy and we will all have lots of fun! The class should last about 2 hours and will start at 12:30 pm. We show a display of Frankoma red/ white/ blue items celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country. Frankoma workers (left to right) are Linda, Melissa, Dennis holding "Jet", Andy, and Trela. The butterflies celebrate Spring and were made for my daughter, Denna.

Youth Services of Tulsa will host the "2nd Chance Prom" on Friday, May 8th starting at 6:30 pm at the Cain's Ballroom (423 N Main St., Tulsa OK). See this link: https://www.yst2ndchanceprom.com/

This "Paradise Soiree" event is a major fund-raiser for the Youth Services of Tulsa. Tickets can be purchased through the above link.

Tiki drinks and collectible Tiki mugs from Frankoma Pottery will be available. The new Widow Maker mugs will be launched with this event! The relatively new War God mugs will also be available.

This is a wonderful and important event for the Tulsa community. Please consider attending. A Frankoma worker (and spouse) will be attending!

These two items arrived in the store recently. They provide a bit of history for a company named AMPI (Associated Milk Producers Incorporated). Shown are a couple nice vintage Frankoma products made for AMPI in Woodland Moss glaze.

This picture shows some of the projects from our Jan 17, 2026 hand coil building class. Teacher Alysia Rodriguez seems to always obtain wonderful results from the students! The next coil building class is tentatively set for March 14th here at our Glenpool OK facility.
