On Saturday July 25, 2026, Frankoma Pottery will release new Orville Knight pottery pieces! We will have a new mug and a new vase, which will be both limited edition and numbered. Orville Knight is a popular five civilized tribes museum artist who has previously worked at Frankoma Pottery; has designed native American vases for Keepsake Candles; and has taught pottery classes at the Bartlesville Hopestone Cancer Support Center. Orville's items have been very popular in the Glenpool store. Orville will be in the store at 1 pm that day for signing.

There will be 4 glaze colors for each piece. Not to give too much away, but, the picture here shows just a bit of the new vase.

Hope to see you at our Glenpool OK store (17117 S Union Ave)

Next Frankoma Pottery Class is Saturday June 6. It's a Make and Paint class. You will make a butterfly (or piggie toothpick holder or titmouse). The butterfly is made with a hand press while the alternate items are made with slip casting molds. You will be shown how to both "wet trim" and "dry trim" the items. And, we will have identical bisque pieces to paint. You will be busy and we will all have lots of fun! The class should last about 2 hours and will start at 12:30 pm. To sign up, call Dennis at 918.914.1277 or email [email protected] or stop by the Glenpool store at 17117 S Union Ave. Deadline for sign up is Friday, June 5. $60 cost.

These two items arrived in the store recently. They provide a bit of history for a company named AMPI (Associated Milk Producers Incorporated). Shown are a couple nice vintage Frankoma products made for AMPI in Woodland Moss glaze.
