Grandma’s House is officially closed as today. Its been heartbreaking and exciting all in one. I never been able to of done this if it wasn't for some great friends and family. I want to thank 3 people that helped me sale and donate $120,000. In inventory and shelving! Melanie Cielinski ( who kept going when I could hardly keep going and did 90% of the work!), Vicki Robertson (from state farm lol) who just like Melanie Cielinski kept things moving along and also did most of the work and Carla Genoff who came in and took photos placed them on market place ( also remind me I had to look at what comments lol) and boxed up everything remaining in the store! Without these 3 people I would still be doing this lol.
I also want to thank Dorothy Velasquez and Beverly Voyzey who has helped me through the years getting the store for every holiday. My daughter Britney Blackburn who has helped so much I love you!
I can not forget my best friend that has helped me from the 1st day opening the store Adele Young , she has been my saving grace with her making hats, Santa hats, blankets, quilts, Wyoming glasses and the most important things is being my friend!
And Glenrock.... your the best community ever! The friends I've made along the way have been the best part. This is the best place to live.
There's exciting things in the making for the building that once again will be for children!
