🌲 A little note from Herb’s Handy Work

If you’ve placed an order with us recently, you may have noticed our turnaround times are a bit longer than you expected. We know waiting isn’t easy, and we truly appreciate your patience.

Here’s the honest truth: we’re a small family workshop. For over 40 years, we’ve been building cabinets the old‑school way—one piece at a time, using real wood, and relying on traditional tools and techniques instead of large‑scale manufacturing machinery. Every cabinet that leaves our shop is made by hand, with the same small‑town values we were founded on.

That kind of craftsmanship takes time. But we believe it’s worth the wait.

We’re humbled and grateful that so many of you have trusted us to be part of your homes. Your support has helped our little family business grow far beyond what we ever imagined, and we don’t take that lightly.

If you have an order with us right now, thank you for hanging in there. We’re working hard every day to get your cabinets to you, and we promise they’ll be worth it.

As we gather around the table this holiday season, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your support. For over 40 years, our family workshop in Iowa has been dedicated to crafting cabinets the old-school way—with real wood!

What sets us apart? Our fully assembled bases come with pre-drilled holes and screws, making assembly a breeze. Forget about those complicated instructions—just connect the bases, and you’re ready to enjoy your beautiful new cabinets right out of the box!

This Thanksgiving, we encourage you to think local. Supporting a family business like ours means choosing quality craftsmanship over mass-produced, prefabricated options. We promise you won’t regret it!

This is one of our most popular singles at only $165.00.

We keep our prices as low as we possibly can and this makes us extremely busy.
