🔗 Support the mission: pchsmn.org is part of Pope County Humane Society and takes in all sorts of donations from kids toys to living room furniture. Please call to schedule a donation or if you have questions on what to donate. All the items sold benefit the animals of Pope County Humane Society and are tax deductible. Donations are accepted during open hours: Thursday and Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm. C.A.T.S was established by Pat Clarke and a few other ladies in 2005 by taking in donations and having garage sales to benefit PCHS. As they expanded they rented a room at Central Square and called it Class Act Thrift Shop, which quickly turned into two rented rooms due to outgrowing their 1 room. In 2007 they moved again due to needing more room for all their donations and moved to their current location with the help of many volunteers.

Some days I like to wander around the store and imagine what COULD be.
With winter coming it's the perfect time of year to hide in a heated garage and give new life to some old favorites.

Sharing is caring!

One of the best things about C.A.T.S. is being able to give back in more ways than one.

Our Director of Operations, Karla, recently delivered three full totes of winter jackets donated to C.A.T.S. to the United Way for their Warm Winter Wear Collection.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, these jackets can now help keep members of our community warm this winter. We love seeing your donations continue to do good right here in our community.

Thank you for helping us share the warmth!

Happy National Thrift Store Day!

Today we’re celebrating the thrill of the thrift — the hunt, the unexpected finds and that feeling when you spot something amazing for a fraction of what you’d pay new.

Thrifting is never just shopping. It’s giving something a second life, keeping good stuff out of the landfill and finding those one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t see everywhere else.

We’re closed today, but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate! Start making your thrift wish list, browse your favorite vintage inspiration, and get ready to hunt for your next treasure at C.A.T.S. when we reopen Thursday.

What’s your favorite thing to thrift?

Tell us in the comments.
