Helping The Homeless Thrift STORE Helping The Homeless Thrift STORE is HELPING THE HOMELESS ministry’s first of eight businesses for our planned CAMP RESTORATION CENTER.

Volunteers and donations are needed and appreciated, and prayers ALWAYS needed! Because we are a 501 (C) 3 tax exempt nonprofit, 85% of our staff are required to be volunteers. The few paid employees will be some of those we’ve been serving with Helping The Homeless ministry, or Restoration Church. Helping people move forward in their lives from where they were to where God wants them to be. Volunteer opportunities abound for all ages!

We have some great things in store for you this Saturday!

Great selections of quality clothing at affordable prices, games, puzzles, old collectors bottles, old root beer bottles, vintage Redskins and Virginia Tech shirts- my oh my!!!

Deals and treasures galore, indoors and out back-our big Pay by the pound Warehouse Sale at our Helping The Homeless Thrift STORE’s warehouse!

And remember we are a nonprofit ministry on a mission!

It truly does take a village!

We have the absolute best volunteer team and staff who works hard because they know they’re working unto the Lord!

Today was a hot day and a donation day yet you guys were phenomenal!

Our team will be busy the next couple of days processing through the rest of the donations that came in today, but here’s some that will help you save money on getting ready for your children to go back to school and helping you organize your household and plan meals in advance!

We have some wonderful kitchen, wear items, craft supplies, filing organizers, and more!

With every donation and every purchase, and every hour served, you are helping us write our story one person at a time!

Thank you all who served today and shopped with us today! At Helping The Homeless Ministries, which includes Helping The Homeless Thrift STORE, every donated item and every hour served tells a story!

We are building our team for Saturday’s- with the hope of rotating our volunteers so serving is spread out. Do you feel you should be on this team? We sure are praying!

This Thursday is a donation day, from 10am to 4pm at our warehouse behind the store.

We are needing your donations of gently used toys (not stuffed animals) and we are always excited about receiving your gently used clothing, kitchen ware, decor, Jewelry, furniture, clothing, games, puzzles, shoes, and other miscellaneous household items! Remember we are a 501 3 C nonprofit ministry and are able to provide a receipt for your donations!

And that’s EXACTLY what all of you are doing! Donating your possessions and they are distributed to all who has need.

We are so so grateful to our committed volunteers who see the need and answered by saying yes. Yes, I will serve here and yes, I believe in the mission here!

You are awesome and we are grateful to everyone who helps tell our story, one donation and one sale at a time!

If you are in need of having items picked up, please have them ready on the ground floor of your home and call our store to schedule a donation pick up! Our store staff will ask you a few questions and fill out our box truck pick up form over the phone with you or in person with you!

Using some of my ‘post’ time to thank Angie of Shoot for Five Photography for taking pictures of our five year anniversary celebration for being opened at Helping The Homeless Thrift Store and some of the pictures-THANK YOU ANGIE!

Though these are some of our committed volunteers, they are not all of them as not everyone was available when these were taken.

When communities group together for a common goal, it’s amazing what God can do through willing vessels!

We are recipients of many willing vessels, volunteers, and servant hearted people, amazing giving customers and staff who gives their time and their heart, knowing their why!

We are looking for several caring individuals who would like to share serving on a team at our Thrift Store on Saturdays! See the attached flyer, this will be not every Saturday depending on how many people want to help, we would rotate we hopefully we would only need someone to serve once every 4-8 weeks, depending on how many sign up!

Perfect for those who are interested in mission work as we are absolutely a mission field here in your local Jerusalem! Many prayer opportunities and witnessing opportunities exist right here in Gloucester County!
