The PNW Wild Call 🌲✨
Ever feel so small in the mountains, yet so deeply reminded that your presence has a purpose? ⛰️👇
No matter what that purpose is, it is vital. An anchor to guide you and a compass to ground you when the day-to-day feels heavy.
September brings a natural transition. It’s a collective shift—a time for integrating the personal truths and emotional growth we gained over the summer, while trying to find discipline in our new routines. 🗓️🍂
My little family and I ventured up a mountain recently, and it was the most beautiful reminder that the present moment is what carries us forward. On our hike, my teen lovingly labeled me a "tourist."
Heck yes, I am! 🤣 I’m the one admiring the flora, pausing for photos, shroom hunting, and gathering medicine. I am 100% that type of wilderness explorer. Who's with me❔️
We all shared that exact awe when we crossed paths with a bear. From the safety of our car, we watched it enjoy someone's apple tree just 10 feet away for over 15 minutes. Spellbound. Medicine received. 🐻🍎
As we flow through September, let’s carry wilderness medicine with us. Ground into your new routines, but always leave room to pause, look around, and remain a tourist in the beautiful transitions of your own life. ✨
