Well we just got done our assessment of what’s left…. NOTHING is left. ☹️

We would like to THANK all of you for the last 15 years. It has been an absolute pleasure serving all of you. From fishing needs, breakfast, lunch, dinner, to every thing else. We have had the best employees and we would like to THANK all of you for allowing us to be apart of your lives and us to be your boss. ♥️

With that being said - TYD's Bait and Tackle Shop will not be coming back. (for the for seeable future)

The town of Leesville was hit hard after Category 4 Hurricane Ida made landffall leading to intense storm surge and wind.

Well… the verdict is in …

BOTH of our buildings (restaurant & bar) are gone!😢 Ida took it ALL!

We aren’t sure of the damages nor have we seen photos or anything yet. We do know that around the flood gates had 13-ish ft of water so that means around us should have had 15ft +/- some. Which in the grand scheme of things should have put around 10ft in our store. ☹️

We did also hear reports that only 2 structures are still standing in Leeville - we are NOT sure which 2 those are or the truth to that statement. 💔

We need all the prayers we can get! 🙏🏼 We hope everyone is safe.

Update: there will be NO COOKING tonight. We have more to prepare for. Leeville looking at 15ft storm surge! 😢😢😢

UPDATE:

There will be NO table service TONIGHT. Burgers & sandwiches will be TO-GO ONLY!

WE WILL NOT be open TOMORROW and closed until AFTER the storm passes, roads are open & we are able to check out damages. We are praying for a smooth ride but we’re not sure that will be the case for Leeville.

Keep us in your prayers. 🙏🏼 We are NOT mentally prepared for this after only being back open for you since May 24.

We had a change to the LUNCH menu for this week... here is the change (for Friday, August 20)

Monday - Baked Spaghetti, Fried Fish, Veggie, Salad & Bread
Tuesday - Butter Beans over rice, Stuffed Bell Peppers, Salad & Bread
Wednesday - Smothered Pork Chops, Rice, Veggie, Salad & Bread
Thursday - Chicken Stew over Rice, Veggie, Potato Salad & Bread
FRIDAY - BEEF ROAST, Cream Potatoes, Veggie, Salad & Bread

UPDATE: Transformers out & Pole down in Leeville & electricity has been out since 3am. This lunch will be pushed to TOMORROW!

Don’t miss out on the Ragu Patot with fresh green onion sausage being cooked for lunch today! Definitely going to be a hit! ❤️
