This week Erik will tell us about local MN bands! Check Out This week's episode (https://youtu.be/YwCFUwFuiNg )

First up is "Swallowtail/Chrysalis" from the Minneapolis Shoegaze quintet she's green! The album which dropped on July 10th combines the band's new EP, Swallowtail, with their 2025 EP, Chrysalis. Both collections are being issued on vinyl for the first time.

Next Erik talked to us about Real Numbers' new album "Was It Always This Way," which dropped on August 14th. It's the Minneapolis Indie Pop Group's first new release in five years and it finds them honing the buoyant, catchy rock sound featured on releases dating back to 2010. "Real Numbers have been one of my favorite local groups for years now, and it is great to have them back on the scene with one of the best records of their career." Erik states.

Down In The Valley has Was It Always This Way in on vinyl, with CDs set to arrive on Sept. 11.

Erik's pre-order of the week is the just-announced live album from the mighty Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Hidden in Pieces: Live at the Royal Albert Hall." Down In The Valley has the 2LP set available for pre-order on indie-exclusive bullseye splatter vinyl, as well as on CD.

Erik mentions "Anyone who has ever seen Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ potent live show will want to relive the experience, and those who haven’t will find out just what they have been missing all these years."
