We are Golden's original fly fishing and water paddling shop located in historic downtown Golden. We are just blocks away from Golden's Whitewater “Playpark” Course and the “Golden Mile” fishing habitat on Clear Creek. Our staff are all fly fishing experts and water enthusiasts and take pride in helping you with all your equipment needs. We can help prepare you for your adventure whether you are off to some extraordinary destination or headed down the street to play.

On Sat, July 25th, we will be closed for business including tubing. You can still go tubing on Clear Creek, but you cannot rent nor buy tubes in the City of Golden including here at Golden River Sports. “City Council Ordinance 2182, 2240: Chapter 5.20 of the Golden City Municipal Code Section 5.20.040 (a)(2): There will be no access to the Clear Creek Corridor to outfitters, tube retailers and their customers by way of tube rentals or sales on July 25, 2026 to provide an offset for anticipated peak use associated with a special City event permit for Buffalo Bills Days.”

Golden River Sports will reopen for business, including tubing, on Sun, July 26th at 10am.
