Hey y'all!. We might not have posted in a while but Old World Armory is still alive and well! We have spent the last few months Gathering more inventory which will be available very soon and preparing to welcome our two newest little and cutest employees John Thomas and Emily Elizabeth Clark! Confederate war bond Receipt. Issued by the Columbus, Mississippi office to the buyer Dora Furman (if I read the handwriting correctly). Dated March 20 1864. $50

Spanish American/ Indian Wars era M1879 Canteen. This piece has survived in great shape with no major damage to the cover. Cover is marked US on one side with field artillery markings on the other. Cork is complete and has its chain. M1903 suspension strap marked R.I.A (Rock Island Arsenal) and dated 1903.

1950s area United States Air Force uniform cap. Cap and liner is in fair shape with some mothing and discoloration. $45

Veteran identified WWI M1917 helmet. This helmet belong to and such marked as such but mister William J Downing who according to Fold3 records served in the 3rd Artillery Park during the war. This is a British made shell ( common as the U.S. purchased thousands of helmets while we tooled up to produce them). Helmet is in great shape for its age with one dent. Liner is present and in decent shape for its age as well although detaching from the shell due to age. This example would look great in any World War I collection!

What does the Child Safety Lock Act of 2005 (CSLA) require of a licensee?

When selling, delivering, or transferring a handgun to any person other than another licensee, any licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer must provide a secure gun storage or safety device to that person for the handgun....

So the point of this conversation is, I would rather pay you my customers then someone else. If you have any trigger locks laying around that you don't use.....because you know there's those of you out there that despise them, I will gladly pay you to have them. $1 per lock that may have otherwise gone in the trash. If you're a gun addict like me that adds up quick! They can be plastic style cable style it doesn't matter as long as they have the key!
