OUR COMMUNITY HAS A CHANCE TO LOVE ON A LOCAL FAMILY 🤍

There are times when a family is carrying more than anyone should have to carry alone — and this is one of those times.

A local family in our community is currently walking through an incredibly difficult season filled with heartache, medical challenges, and the financial burden that comes along with ongoing medical expenses. While we can’t take away what they are facing, we can come together and help lighten their load in the ways we know how.

The Flower Basket will be collecting everyday household necessities, grocery and gas gift cards, and monetary donations for this family. Our hope is simple: if we can take care of some of the little everyday things, maybe that gives them one less thing to worry about while they focus on what matters most — their family. 🤍

Laundry detergent. Toilet paper. Shampoo. Groceries. Gas to get back and forth. Things most of us grab without thinking twice can mean so much to a family whose attention and finances are being pulled in so many other directions.

No donation is too small. Truly. A pack of paper towels, a bottle of dish soap, a $10 gas card — when an entire community comes together, those small acts of kindness become something BIG.

Sometimes certain colors just belong together. 😍🧡🩷❤️

This one stopped us in our tracks! The mix of vibrant oranges, bold reds, soft peaches, and pops of pink came together so beautifully. It’s bright, cheerful, elegant, and full of life all at the same time.

One of our favorite things about flowers is how colors you wouldn’t always expect to work together can create absolute magic. ✨

🌸 We know we’ve been a little quiet lately… but we promise we’re still here, doing what we love most—creating beautiful things every single day. 💕

Between weddings, everyday bouquets, sympathy arrangements, and helping our Baton Rouge store move into there new shop, we’ve been busy behind the scenes making flowers that bring smiles to so many.

We may not always have time to post, but we’re still pouring our hearts into every arrangement that leaves our shop. 🌷

When we purchased The Flower Basket, I honestly didn’t know much about flowers. Fast forward to today, and we’re creating wedding florals almost every weekend. 💐

I’ve been blessed to learn from some incredibly talented people along the way, but a lot of what I do has come from countless hours of teaching myself, practicing, and never being afraid to try something new.

Weddings have become my creative outlet. Every bride has her own vision, and bringing that vision to life is something I’ll never take for granted. My absolute favorite moment is seeing a bride’s face when she holds her bouquet for the very first time. That reaction makes every early morning and late night worth it.

I’m completely obsessed with both of the weddings we had this weekend, and I’m so thankful that our brides trusted us to be a small part of such a special day.
