There’s something sacred about the last blooms of the season.
Maybe it’s knowing their time is short that makes us pause a little longer. Look a little closer. Savor them in a way we didn’t think to in the abundance of summer.
And this zinnia feels especially worth noticing.
She’s peach at first glance, but underneath there’s a deeper mauve glow—almost as if she knows the season is changing, too. Summer warmth giving way to autumn’s richer, moodier hues.
One bloom. One fleeting little masterpiece.
A reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things arrive just before it’s time to let go. 🍂
