Easter is meant to be a joyous time, but for children in our community experiencing emotional or financial hardships, the Easter holiday can be a challenging time. Discovery Toys is trying to bring a little happiness this Easter to children at Faith Mission, the Women's Shelter, Revive Kids, foster families and Bashor Home by providing Easter Baskets to these children.
Each child will receive an educational toy and a book. Each family will recieve a Bible and a Bible Storybook, as well, if they have younger children. The basket will also have Easter candy treats in them as well as some healthy treats! The children at the Women's Shelter will receive basic necessities as well. There are 140 plus baskets that are needed for these precious children this year and I will put a quality basket together for $25.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Sponsor a basket for $25, 2 for $50, 3 for $75 and 4 for $100.
Collect change at work and as a company, office or department sponsor a basket. Our bank does this every year and sponsors over 10 baskets!!
Sponsor a basket in honor or memory of someone. My mom loved children and every year we sponsor children in her memory.

I will be posting the number of baskets that have been donated, stories and statistics from the shelters in the next few weeks. There will also be public thank yous that will be made!!

February 29th if possible!!
