A wild fledgling bluebird ate mealworms right from our hand… and yes, we were just as excited as you’d be. 💙

It’s been learning the feeder, hanging around close by, and it got brave enough to come in for a snack out of our hand.

Then it went right back to the feeder like it owned the place.

These are the moments that turn people into bluebird people for life.

If you want to make your yard more inviting for bluebirds, our bluebird feeders are built for exactly that.

I don’t think we’re ever going to top this one. 💙

This little fledgling has been hanging around the feeders, and today it decided mealworms straight from the hand sounded pretty good too.

A few bites from us… then right back to the feeder for more.

These are the moments that make feeding bluebirds so much fun. You don’t just put food outside. You get a front-row seat to their little world.

Want to bring bluebirds closer to your backyard too?

Our Deluxe Bluefeast Bluebird Feeder is designed specifically for bluebirds and gives them a dedicated place to enjoy mealworms and other favorites.

You start out wanting to feed the goldfinches.

Then suddenly you know who eats peacefully, who shows up every day… and who apparently has opinions about sharing the feeder. 😂🐦

And, that’s half the fun.

Summer may be winding down, but we’re not ready for the backyard show to end. Keeping the feeders filled is one of our favorite ways to keep these little moments coming as we head toward fall.

If you want more of this happening right outside your own window, set the table for them.

A little throwback to one of our favorite sights of the season: orioles stopping in for oranges and jelly.

That flash of orange at the feeder never gets old, especially when they stick around long enough to give you a front row seat.

And this is exactly why having a feeder ready matters. Give them a dedicated place for the foods they love, then enjoy the show when they arrive.

Summer might be winding down…

But the fledglings are still putting on a show. 💙

One minute they’re flitting around the feeders and perching on anything they can find.

The next, one is inside the feeder helping itself to breakfast.

And this is exactly why we keep feeding them.

Not because every visit is some huge event.

Because once your backyard becomes one of their regular stops, you never really know what you’re going to look out the window and see.

If you want to keep your own backyard bird show going, give them a feeding spot worth coming back to.

Made from durable recycled poly lumber and handcrafted by an Amish family, so they’re built for a lot more seasons of watching this.

You know you’ve become a serious bird person when you fill the feeder… and somehow it feels empty again five minutes later. 😂

That’s one reason we love this feeder.

Instead of constantly topping off loose seed, it holds a large suet log or seed cylinder up to 72 oz., so there’s more food available and fewer trips outside to refill it. And judging by the woodpeckers, chickadees and nuthatches that keep showing up, they’re pretty happy with the arrangement too.

It’s handcrafted from durable recycled poly lumber and built to stay outside season after season.

More bird watching.
Less feeder filling.

👉 Shop the Suet Log & Seed Cylinder Feeder https://birdhaven.com/collections/suet-feeders/products/suet-log-seed-cylinder-bird-feeder and give your backyard birds a feeding spot that lasts longer between refills.

You fill the feeder, step back… and wait. 👀

Then a chickadee slips in.

A few moments later, there’s that unmistakable flash of red from a cardinal.

And suddenly you remember exactly why you keep those feeders full.

It isn’t only about feeding the birds. It’s getting to look out your window and never quite know who might show up next.

Our Amish handcrafted poly lumber feeders are made for exactly this: years of backyard mornings, surprise visitors, and those little moments that make you stop what you’re doing just to watch.

There’s something about those last few minutes of daylight… when the fledglings are still flitting around the feeder, grabbing one more bite before nightfall. 💙

These are the little backyard moments that make feeding bluebirds so worth it.

There’s something different to watch in every season. ❤️🐦

One day it’s finches crowding in for breakfast.

Then a Blue Jay swoops down and completely steals the show.

Cardinals appear against the green of summer, and when winter arrives, little chickadees somehow make a snowy morning feel a whole lot warmer.

That’s one of the things we love most about feeding the birds.

The feeder may stay in the same spot, but the view is always changing.

And when you have a feeder that’s made to stay outside season after season, you get a front row seat to all of it.

Our Amish handcrafted poly lumber feeders are made from durable recycled plastic material, so they’re built for far more than one summer of bird watching.

Fill it. Hang it. And see who discovers it next. 🐦

👉 Get yours at birdhaven.com and start creating your own four season bird watching spot.

If woodpeckers are the birds you stop what you’re doing to watch, give them a feeder worth coming back to. 😍

Our Pileated Woodpecker Double Suet Feeder gives larger woodpeckers plenty of room to cling and feed, with an extra-long tail prop and space for two suet cakes.

And as you can see, the red-bellied woodpeckers are pretty happy with it too.

It’s handcrafted by an Amish family from durable recycled poly lumber, so this isn’t a feeder you’re replacing after a season or two.

It’s built for years of woodpecker watching.
