Just in from an old New England apothecary… four authentic late 1800s / early 1900s pharmacy drawers with their original painted labels and decorative hardware intact.
Labels include:
• Zinuacetum
• Flox. Papaver
• Rad. Taraxici
• Menth. Piperita
These drawers were once part of a working apothecary cabinet where herbs, roots, flowers, and medicinal ingredients were stored and dispensed by hand. The rich dark patina, dovetail construction, and beautifully aged painted lettering tell the story of over a century of use.
