We recently had the pleasure of welcoming visitors all the way from the United Kingdom, and reading this review truly made our day! ❤️

"As fairly prudish Brits, we genuinely did not know what to expect walking into Salt Creek Chocolate and Guns, but what followed was the full VIP Texas experience.

The moment we arrived, we were asked where we were from and invited to place a pin on the map showing our home location, which was a lovely personal touch and immediately made us feel welcome.

Dan then took us through each individual chocolate flavour, sharing the story behind every one and making sure we sampled plenty along the way. The chocolates themselves were fantastic, but hearing the passion and history behind them made the experience even better.

He then gave us a full tour of the store, patiently explaining every gun on the racks and walls, answering all of our questions and sharing an incredible amount of knowledge.

As if that wasn’t enough, we were then treated to a tour of the chocolate factory followed by a tour of the gun workshop to see how everything operates behind the scenes.

Coming from the UK, the culture around fi****ms is incredibly different to anything we are used to, but that was exactly what made the experience so fascinating. We loved getting an insight into a completely different way of life and appreciated how open, welcoming and enthusiastic everyone was in sharing it with us.

Dan and the entire team could not have been more accommodating, welcoming or friendly. What started as curiosity turned into one of the highlights of our trip and gave us a true Texas experience that we will never forget.
