Just something I retrieved from a load of decorative cobblestones here in Granbury TX.
Nice piece of coral sitting on a piece of reef matrix.

Armadillos make for some unusual friends.
When they dig out finds such as these and leave them just lying there waiting to be picked up, we'll they're my friends.
Several people came out to that area and started digging. It was not long before the group had dug a hole where you could bury a city bus.
Later on that subject.

Any collector who concentrates solely on one field of hobbies can easily miss out on some really cool stuff.
Durring WWII these were given to children who came to the bank with their parent. It was ment to inspire them into saving. This was found near Fair Park with many other strange and wonderful stuff.
This one is filled with old wheat straw Lincoln cents all of which I found over the years with a metal detector.
You just never know what's out there.

Here's a little something I like.
Ammonite...
Colinoceras tarrantense
Woodbine formation
This is what I got when a below average ammonite was cut. I do not cut many but this one just weighed light in my hand. I knew it was hollow chambered.
Bingo me likee...

This is a colonial coral fragmented into a thousand+ pieces. When alive it would measure near 10-15 inches in diameter.
