Deer Park needs help 💕

We've been in contact with a relative all the way from Louisiana! We are so grateful for your help!

WE NEED YOUR HELP: Help us return a piece of history to Commander James Pirie’s family. 🕯️🇺🇸

​While going through inventory at Deer Park Vintage Co., we came across this original MIA/POW bracelet bearing the name CDR. JAMES PIRIE and the date 6-23-67.

My husband, Dave, did a little research. ​Commander Pirie’s story is incredible.

He flew in the Bay of Pigs invasion and later served in Vietnam, where his plane was shot down on June 23, 1967. He was forced to eject, taken as a POW, and endured over five years in captivity before finally coming home.

​These bracelets were worn by Americans back home as a promise never to forget our fallen and captured service members. Now, we want to make sure this meaningful artifact finds its way back to Commander Pirie’s surviving family members or descendants.

​Let's use the power of this community to bring this home. ❤️✌️🇺🇸
