I told y’all I may be finding a few treasures from some of my friends! Well here is one story. This is in my friend Missy’s home. This piece was her great grandfather’s that was in his Mercantile in Electric Mills, Mississippi. Her great grandmother ran the mercantile and also the postal service. This was in the early 1900’s. When the lumber mill shut down, so did the small town. Electric Mills, Mississippi is now a ghost town. So sad. But so much history in it.

I Love terracotta pots. I love the old ones. I have made a new one look old before. You Mod Podge the pot. Sprinkle baking soda all over it. Let dry then get a dry paper towel and scrub on it. Gives it that good ole worn look! 👀
