Join me September 26-27 for a portrait drawing workshop, 2-5pm. Working from a live model, we will learn the underlying structure of the head, plus how to see and measure big shapes to get an accurate likeness. All supplies included, $180 for both days. Portraits are my favorite thing! I can’t wait!

Big, big thanks to Amy Ardoin for her extremely generous art supply donation! Thanks to her, we’ll not only be able to donate artist quality supplies to local schools, but will also be able to make special watercolor sketch kits to give to kids at Christmas through the non-profit For Love of People. I’m so excited to see what more we can do when we come together as a community to support the arts and make creativity accessible to everyone!

We had a great time sewing with Brittani Tran yesterday! There’s still time to sign up for the October 4th apron workshop, suitable for adults and children, beginners and intermediate sewers who need to brush up on basics. Bring a machine, fabric, and a basic sewing kit, and Ms Tran will show you how to do the rest! (Children should be accompanied by an adult who can assist them.)
