It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closing of Plain Jane’s. This decision was not easy; the mission of bringing safe, natural house and personal cleaning products to our small town is one close to our hearts.
Using natural products has greatly improved our health inside and out. We loved hearing all of your testimonies, and seeing how switching to safe cleaning products has positively impacted your life too. There was many times that you all recommended some of our top sellers to us! When people say how much they love our store and how happy they were to have the option to buy better products locally, it made the slow days worth it.
We’ve watched as some of our suppliers have grown to owning entire warehouses, from when they started with their family and friends at home. We have watched as our local Safeway started carrying more healthy options. Many corporations are scrambling to greenwash their products to make you think they are natural. This shows how the power of a dollar can influence the world..and how supporting USA small business benefits local economies, especially rural areas like ours.
Caroline and I (Rachel) are eternally grateful to those of you who have supported us in any way. Without you, we wouldn’t have made it as far as we have! We will miss chatting with our loyal customers, and cherish all of the amazing memories we’ve made along the way. It has been an honor to serve our hometown community.
