Meet Petunia. Toad extraordinaire. Keeping bugs at bay- She has been with me all spring and summer loving life. She finds thrills in jump scaring me every chance she gets. She has now recruited “Rose” to do the same. Well played Petunia. After my heart attack from being startled again, I just have to laugh. But that could also be due to the extreme heat this week making me delusional. If my flowers don’t make it through- we will have plenty of toad content. 🥵😂

This last week of intense heat has been rough. Why can’t Mother Nature help a girl out. Would love a spring with normal temperatures and minimal wind. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. 😂. More to plant in while trying to keep the planted in babies alive. Lots to still do. Let’s go!!!!

Dramatic music for soil blocking 😄 Quick reel to show how I start some of my seeds with soil blocking. Not the process I use for everything. Yes - I am doing this on my dinning room table. Nothing fancy here- which means you can do it at home too- Let me know if you have any questions! (Shout out at the end to my favorite T-shirt. It had stood the test of time. I bought it in college at Urban Outfitters. I really hemmed and hawed over the purchase and then spent way too much money on it. And then I thought I was a big deal cause I had a clothing item from Urban Outfitters 😂)
